We provide the finest equipment - being an Orvis endorsed fly fishing guide and field tester for Orvis for many years, I've accumulated an incredible range of equipment to cover every fishing situation imaginable! We also provide a quality lunch on full day trips. If you have special dietary needs, please bring appropriate food for your needs. Bottled water is provided on half and full day trips.
All flies are included at no extra cost! Feel free to bring your own tied flies as well.
Your fishing license is not included - everyone age 14 and older is required to have a valid fishing license. We strongly encourage our guests to purchase their licenses online prior to their trip in order to save time and get on the river sooner. Click here for Wyoming Game and Fish website where fishing licenses are available to purchase.
Although Wyoming summers are generally warm and mild, everyone is encouraged to be prepared. Light jackets or pullovers are items to have along for cool mornings. We have on board Coast Guard approved life jackets - kids 12 and under are required by law to wear one. It's a good idea to bring along a rain jacket or ponch in the event of a cloudburst. If you have binoculars bring them, along with a camera. Sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and hats are a must!
We will provide transportation to and from the river of choice from a designated meeting place.
We welcome children who are able to follow directions. Some 4-year-olds have matured to that point, and on the other hand some 5-year-olds have not matured to that point. Because every child develops differently, we feel that as parents you are best able to decide if your child is ready to safely enjoy a float trip on the river!
